Visit Aru Valley which is an enthralling village situated 15 km upstream of the Lidder River. It is a base camp for trekking to the Kolhoi Glacier and Tarsar Lake. Your first stop will be at Shalimar Bagh. This is a Mughal garden, built-in 1619. It was built by emperor Jahangir for his wife Noor Jahan. The garden overlooks the twinkling waters of Dal Lake. Now, it is a public garden and is said to be the “crown of Srinagar”. The next destination for the day will be Chashme Shahi. This is also a very renowned garden built by the Mughals. Visit it for its terrace garden that consists of walkways, colourful plants and pools of water. Post this tiring day, head back to your hotel or houseboat for dinner and a night stay.

The next activity on your tour itinerary for will be a Gondola ride or pony ride to Khillanmarg. The ride is the second-highest cable ride in the world and tourists from around the globe come to experience the ride. It offers a magnificent view of the Himalayan Mountain Ranges.
