Gondola Ride Leisure Activities in Gulmarg

Travel without any worries in case of road closures to Gulmarg from Tangmarg and back! After breakfast, leave for Sonmarg, situated at an altitude of 9000 ft. Sonmarg is also called as “The Meadow of gold”. Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas glacier, which is a major local attraction during the summer. Return back to the hotel for dinner. Later drive back to Srinagar for overnight stay at Srinagar in hotel.

The name Doodhpathri literally means the abode of milk, because the water flowing through this whitish like milk and has a mystic reason in offering. If you are in Kashmir on a visit, you must try to visit Doodhpathri. It is not far from Srinagar and can tick one important item off your bucket list.   Doodhpathri is an offbeat pristine location and is best to be visited during summers. The weather is warm, the snow has melted and the meadows give you a more beautiful and serene view of the vast hills and meadows. You can also sit by the banks of river Shaliganga and enjoy the milky water. Doodhpathri in winter: Winter is not the ideal month to visit Doodhpathri. Doodhpathri would be covered in snow and at times during the month of December to March it is very difficult to access. You can, however, enjoy snow, sledging and ATVs in Doodhpathri in winter. Doodhpathri in summer: Summer is the peak season of tourism in Doodhpathri. You can enjoy camping, trekking, sightseeing and picnicking in Doodhpathri in summer.
