Drive to Wayanad, on the way halt at Lakkidi view point and Pookode Lake. Later check in to resort. Overnight stay.

Pristine Wayanad offers an elaborate treat to any travel enthusiast. The dam, lake, waterfalls, the caves and temples, wildlife sanctuary, the list go on. Visit to famous Edakkal caves after breakfast, which is located in the top of Ambukuthimala from there will get a view of 3 states. Later in the afternoon proceed to Banasura, the largest earth dam in India. Boating in the dam is the main attraction. Back to the resort, night stays.

Morning visit to Kuruva Island, 30 km drive from Bathery is a protected river delta in the Kabani river. There are lots of rare species of birds and herbs. Bamboo rafting can be experienced here. (Single day entry is restricted to 200 people so have to go in the morning to get tickets and entry). Later in the afternoon visit Muthanga wild life sanctuary. Hiring a jeep and can roam inside the sanctuary. Back to resort overnight stay.
