1. COVID-19 Policy:
Customers are advised that updated terms and conditions are in effect due to circumstances related to COVID-19. In case of flight ticket cancellation by the customer, the airline determines the refund amount and timing, which may take up to 180 days or longer. Refunds may be provided in cash, credit, voucher, or other mediums.
2. Hotel Check-in and Check-out:
For international bookings, check-in time is 14:00 hours and check-out time is 11:00 hours. Early check-in and check-out are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. Please note that most hotels in Europe do not have air conditioning.
3. Rates and Availability:
Rates are subject to the availability of hotel accommodations and sightseeing tours at the time of booking. We reserve the right to provide alternate accommodation of equal or higher standard in case of non-availability or price changes.
4. Hotel Security Deposit:
It is standard practice for international hotels to require a security deposit via credit card or cash at check-in. The amount varies by hotel and is refunded upon check-out. Debit cards should not be used as they may be charged immediately and refunded only after 2-3 weeks. The hotel may charge additional services, including minibar usage, against this deposit. We are not responsible for these transactions, which are strictly between the hotel and the client.
5. Sightseeing:
The tour begins from a city center point, the details of which will be provided on the voucher. Customers must arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes prior to the tour start time. No refunds, partial or full, will be provided for unused services.
6. Disclaimer:
Mark Your Trip organizes travel and holiday packages but does not control or operate any airline, hotel, transport, or other service providers. We are not liable for delays, improper services, or any injury, death, loss, or damage caused by third-party providers. In case of cancellations due to strikes or other reasons, alternative arrangements will be made by the respective carrier.
7. Visa Responsibility:
Obtaining a visa is the sole responsibility of the traveler. We assist with visa documentation but do not influence the granting of visas, which is at the discretion of the respective embassy or high commission. Any history of visa refusal must be disclosed. In case of visa refusal, cancellation charges will apply.
Payment Terms:
1. Booking Confirmation: A minimum charge of INR 30,000 per person is required for booking confirmation. Full payment for air tickets must be made within two days.
2. Train and Other Services: Full payment for train tickets must be made immediately after visa appointment confirmation, and the remaining amount after visa approval.
3. Non-Refundable Bookings: Full payment is required to confirm bookings for non-refundable services.
4. Maldives Bookings: Most resorts in the Maldives require full payment upon booking.
5. Air Tickets: Full payment is required before the issuance of air tickets to secure prices.
6. Non-Compliance: Failure to make full payment as specified may result in booking cancellation and forfeiture of deposits. Cancellation charges may apply.
Note:
Refundable bookings are subject to cancellation fees of INR 2500 per person.
Airline cancellation charges are INR 14,000 per person unless otherwise specified. Taxes (K3) are non-refundable even in full refund cases.
In the event of pandemic-related cancellations, 100% of the ticket cost may be refunded as a credit shell.
Non-refundable tickets should be confirmed with the airline.
Cancellation Policy for Land Packages:
30% of the package cost if canceled from booking confirmation to 21 days before departure.
50% of the package cost if canceled 21 to 5 days before departure.
Full payment is non-refundable if canceled within 5 days of departure.
Legal Jurisdiction:
All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Chandigarh courts only.
