  Leave Hanoi and head to Halong Bay, one of the world's most stunning picturesque surroundings. This huge bay, which spans 577 square miles, is home to approximately 3,000 limestone "peaks" or karsts that rise from the deep blue ocean as far as the eye can see. We'll spend a day and a half, including an overnight with dinner and breakfast onboard, exploring this vast seascape from the decks of a traditional Vietnamese boat. Your boat is comfortable and intimate, with handcrafted hardwood interiors that include a dining room and nice air-conditioned staterooms with private bathrooms. Because we'll be spending the night on the sea, we'll have time to explore Halong Bay's most picturesque places, swim, and even see some of the largest rock formations and caves.   We wake up to the sound of lapping bay waters and have time for an early morning dip and breakfast. Sitting on the upper deck, you may rest while admiring the stunning splendor of the rocky islands rising from the bay's emerald waters. After breakfast, tour Sung Sot Cave, swim, and relax. Cruises return to the jetty as brunch is served, passing along the bay and admiring more intriguing formations. Check-out from your cruise. Drive back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi about 3:00 pm. After breakfast at the hotel, take a brief sightseeing excursion to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and complex. Transfer to airport for a domestic flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival in Da Nang, meet and drive to Hoi An. Stay overnight in Hoi An.

  After breakfast, visit Hoi An, an ancient town that was formerly a Cham harbor but has been affected throughout the ages by a variety of traders from different cultures. There is lots to see in this peaceful and charming town, including the famed Japanese Covered Bridge, the Pottery Museum, the 200-year-old Tan Ky House, the Chua Ong Pagoda, and the lively market. On an interesting walking tour, we see many low tiled buildings strewn around the narrow streets, as well as assembly halls that highlight the town's multi-cultural past. Afternoon tour Cam Thanh Water Coconut Village.Take a bamboo basket boat trip along the canal to enjoy the fresh air and interesting activities like fishing and rowing the unusual boat. You will also learn about the lives of farmers and fishermen. Then transfer back to Danang. Overnight in Da Nang. 

  After breakfast, pick up from your hotel in Da Nang. Transfer to the airport for a domestic flight to Ho Chi Minh City. When you arrive at Tan Son Nhat Airport, our representative will welcome you and transport you to your hotel for check-in . Take a brief sightseeing tour of Ho Chi Minh City, including the Hundred Years Red Cathedral (Notre Dame Cathedral), the Old Post Office, and the People's Committee Hall. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

  After breakfast, a one-and-a-half-hour ride takes you to Cu Chi, where human understanding has been increased by the experience of a web-like tunnel system spanning more than 200 kilometers that served as guerilla bunkers during the battle against American troops. Return to Ho Chi Minh after lunch (on your own responsibility). Visit the War Remnants Museum, China Town, and Thien Hau Temple. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

  After breakfast, a two-hour drive to My Tho will reveal the colorful outskirt life and gorgeous rice fields along the way. Upon arrival, take a boat excursion up the Mekong River, stopping at Thoi Son to savor seasonal fruits and listen to traditional folk melodies. Then, explore the actual lives of the locals and test your negotiating skills at cottage handcraft shops. The next riverside adventure will be an exciting sampan ride through palm-fringed waterways. Return to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon. Free for shopping. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
