Morning: Arrive in Gangtok. Check-in at your hotel and freshen up. Afternoon: Visit the Enchey Monastery, a serene and beautiful monastery with a rich history. Evening: Stroll around MG Marg, the main street in Gangtok, for shopping and dining.
End of Day - Day 2Info Gangtok Local Sightseeing
Morning: Visit Tashi Viewpoint for a panoramic view of the Kanchenjunga peaks. Explore Ganesh Tok, a small temple offering great views. Visit Hanuman Tok, another temple with beautiful views. Afternoon: Explore the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology to learn about Tibetan culture and history. Visit Do Drul Chorten, one of the most important stupas in Sikkim. Check out the Flower Exhibition Centre near Ridge Park. Evening: Relax at your hotel or explore local markets.
End of Day - Day 3Info Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir
Morning: Drive to Tsomgo Lake (also known as Changu Lake), a glacial lake located about 40 km from Gangtok. Visit Baba Mandir, a shrine dedicated to an Indian army soldier. Afternoon: Return to Gangtok and relax. Evening: Free time to explore local cuisine and shopping.
End of Day - Day 4Info Transfer to Darjeeling & Sightseeing
Morning: Check out from the hotel and drive to Darjeeling (approximately 4 hours). Afternoon: Arrive in Darjeeling and check-in at your hotel. Visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, which also houses the Everest Museum. Explore the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, famous for its Red Panda and Snow Leopard breeding programs.
