Nishat Bagh also known as the garden of Pleasure is a ten terraced garden sprawled along the eastern side of the Dal Lake, with the towering Zabarwan hills as its backdrop. Build in 1634, designed by Asif Khan during the region of Mughal Emperor Jahangir. Shalimar Bagh is considered to be the finest Mughal -style hill garden and was made by the Mughal Emperor Jahangir in 1619 for his beloved wife, Nur-jahan. The Shalimar Bagh was built as the summer residence of the Mughals. The water canals and fountains cover a major area of the garden and the gurgling sound of soothing water canals & Overnight stay in hotel.

After breakfast drive to Gulmarg the meadows of flowers 2730 mtrs, above sea level. The distance of 60 kms will be covered in 2 hours it has delightful ski slopes and the highest 18-hole golf course of the world. If weather permits, you can also have view of Nanga Parbat.The view enrote from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is magnificent. Evening back to Srinagar overnight stay in hotel.

After breakfast drive to Pahalgam, the valley of shepherds. Drive through saffron fields, visit Awantipura ruins of a 1100 years old lord Vishnu built of king Awantiwareman. Drive through the pine forest and along lidder river. The total distance of 96 kms will be covered in about 3 hours. Pahalgam is the most famous place for Indian film industry.  In the evening return to Srinagar

After Breakfast Drive Towards Verinag on the road to Jammu is another spring of great importance and beauty with deep blue water which also issues from the bottom of high scarp of a mountain spur and here again Jehangir built a pleasure garden and a summer house. An octagonal pavement has been raised around the spring by the Emperor Jehangir. The Emperor was infatuated with the beauty of Verignag to the extent that while breathing his last at Chengas village near Rajouri he wished to be buried at Verinag. And after the completion of the construction design of the spring and the nearby garden he has written that the traveler who has travelled through the earth can hardly give any example of another place of such a beauty. This tourist resort is in Tehsil Shahabad Bala and is about 26 Kms away from Anantnag Town. A tourist bungalow, a rest house and some huts have been constructed at this place.
