James Bond Island is a major tourist attraction in Phang Nga Bay. The island shot to fame because of the James Bond classic “The Man with the Golden Gun” in 1974 where a fight sequence between James Bond and the villains was filmed here. This eventually led to its name. The twin islands of Khao Phing Kan and Ko Ta Pu located here can be addressed as James bond island individually or both together. Another stand-out feature of this island is its karst topography and the resulting limestone cliff formed because of seawater erosion.
