07:00 - 07:30 - Our guide will meet you at your hotel and start 110km modern bus-journey through beautiful countryside. Stop short. 10:30 - Arrive at the largest pagoda in Vietnam and Southeast Asia, Bai Dinh. Set on the foothills of Dinh Mountain, it offers breathtaking views of the river valley below and limestone karsts. This pagoda complex is the most impressive and refined Vietnamese architecture ever erected, taking a full day to tour. You'll see some national highlights: 500 stone "La Han" (Arhat) sculptures, 2 massive bronze bells (27 and 36 tons). Visit Quan Yin and Gautama Buddha. 12:00 - Lunch at our restaurant with local food. 13:00 - Visit the Trang An Grottoes, a 20-square-kilometer limestone massif rising from rice paddy lands. Mystic valleys, freshwater ponds, and jungle exist deep in the linked chains of high mountains. Take a traditional sampan down the beautiful river through Lam Cave, Vang Cave, Dai Cave, Thanh Truot Cave, Cao Sn Temple, Suoi Tien Temple, and Vu Lam Temple. 15:30 - Visit Mua Cave and start a fantastic hike up to the top of Ngoa Long Mountain to see the stunning rice valley and wildlife. 17:00 - Check into your homestay/bungalow and rest, read, or swim before dinner at 19:00, then enjoy the pool view bar at night. Have breakfast at Bungalow. Free time for swimming, relaxing, or cycling through towns with daily life, then climb Tuyet Tinh Coc (the cave's top pagoda) to observe the picturesque lake surrounded by Karsts and jungles. This brings back childhood memories. 11:30 Checkout and Have lunch at bungalow. In the afternoon, our tour guide welcomes you and starts an excursion on Ngo Dong river in Tam Coc - the most exciting boating trip with sampan boats past caves (Hang Ca - Hang Hai and Hang Ba) and magnificent river surrounded by Limestone Karsts with rich fauna and vegetation. 16:00 To reach Bich Dong Pagoda, you cycle past rice fields and villages. You climb to the top and take a bus to Hanoi after enjoying the panoramic view of stunning limestone ridges and dotted hamlets. Due to weather, your itinerary may alter. Return to Hanoi by bus at 17:00. The journey ends at 19:00 when we leave you off at your accommodation in Hanoi.
