MAI CHAU HILL TRIBLE 2 DAYS/1 NIGHT

7:00 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.: Leave Hanoi (3.5-hour drive with breaks and picture stops; good roads). 11.30: Get to Mai Chau. Spend some time in Poom Cong village and the area around it. 12.30: Lunch with the H'mong people at their house on stilts. 14:00: Take a short hike to visit the Muong and Thai villages of Lac Village and Van Village. 18.00: Go back to the local house, eat dinner, and watch a traditional music show if you want to (this is not required). Spend the night in the house on stilts. Meals:  Lunch, dinner Accommodation: Homestay in Mai Chau

  06:00: Things to do in the morning to get up early and enjoy the fresh air. The house serves breakfast at 7:30. Start the Valley bike tour at 8:30. To learn more about the local hill tribe people and their culture, the ride goes through many villages, across lush rice fields, and into the countryside. (You can climb if you want to go to 1000 Steps Cave and the neighborhood market.) At 11.30, there will be a tasty lunch. 13.00: Leave Mai Chau. Around 17:00, you will get to Hanoi.
