Have breakfast at hotel. At 8:00, the driver will pick you up and take you where you need to go. Take a boat ride on Son River from the Ho Chi Minh Trail to Phong Nha Cave, one of the longest and most beautiful karst caves in the world and a UNESCO world natural heritage site. Cruise along the river and visit Bi Ky Chamber, "Fairy Lady," and "Royal Palace" caves, which are known for their unique stalactites and stalagmites. Back to the pier on the boat. Have lunch at a nearby diner. At 13:30, the tour ends with a trip to Paradise Cave, the world's biggest cave system, also known as "Underground Heaven."Go back to Dong Hoi and enjoy your free time. After breakfast, start the day with a historical tour of Dong Hoi. • At 8:00, go to the former Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) to learn about an important part of Vietnam's war history. • At 10:00, go to the Ben Hai River, which used to separate Northern and Southern Vietnam, and see where fierce battles were fought. Visit other places with history: During the war, US forces bombed Dakrong Bridge a lot because it was a key site. Khe Sanh Combat Base is a former US Marine Corps base where a big battle took place in 1968. It is now a museum and memorial. The Rockpile is a tall limestone outcrop that is used as an observation post by US troops because it gives them a wide view of the area. Return to the hotel.
