Best of Arctic with Glass Igloo

Welcome to Rovaniemi! Your guide will conveniently pick you up from the airport or train station in Rovaniemi and your adventure begins! After you have equipped yourself with the appropriate winter gear, you will go in search of the unique natural phenomenon of the North! The Northern Lights! Follow your professional photographer to a magical forest located between 35 and 50 km from the city's light pollution. Let him show you all the tricks you need to capture the aurora perfectly, and have your own photo taken with the Northern Lights in the background! Afterwards, warm up around a crackling campfire, try a traditional Lappish BBQ and listen to your guide's stories about the legends of the Northern Lights in Sami and Lappish culture.  After the tour you will receive the photos of the Northern Lights, which you can download at no extra cost. After this adventure, the guide will take you to your accommodation, an Aurora Nest! An ecological glass igloo from which you can comfortably watch the Northern Lights in the sky above you. Equipped with a small kitchen, a toilet and a double bed, you will feel right at home! But that's not all, because an hour's sauna and whirlpool experience is also included! Holiday relaxed! 

  Get a good night's sleep, enjoy the Lappish nature and have a hearty breakfast, as you have an exciting day ahead of you. You will be picked up from Aurora Nest and your guide will take you to Santa's Village! There you will cross the Arctic Circle and have the opportunity to visit Santa in person and meet his helpers. You will visit both the husky and reindeer farms, where you can marvel at the wintry landscape on an exciting husky and reindeer sleigh ride. Afterwards, you can fortify yourself at the lunch buffet before continuing to the Arktikum Museum. Get to know both Arctic nature and the indigenous Sami people a little better.  You can then let the impressions of today sink in at your home, the Aurora Nest, with sauna and whirlpool. Don't forget to take a dip in the cooling water! 

  Enjoy a rich Lapland breakfast, enjoy the view from your Aurora nest in the middle of nature, as today you change accommodation. Your guide will take you comfortably to your new accommodation, the Santa Igloo (or equivalent).  In the evening you go hunting for the Northern Lights again. You might even see something more spectacular than last time. Enjoy the campfire and the winter wonderland of Lapland!  Afterwards you will be taken back to your new accommodation. Good night!

Get a good night's sleep today! Enjoy the fact that you have arrived in Lapland!  Have breakfast and then explore the town. Or for nature lovers: Hike through the snow-covered city across the famous lumberjack bridge to the Ounasvaara Forest. The many branching hiking trails offer everything to make your winter heart beat faster! Hike to the top of the fells, to the lookout point and marvel at the view that awaits you!  Also today you will spend the night in Santa's Igloo (or similar).

Your last day has arrived, enjoy a final breakfast and hours in Lapland before we take you to either the train station or airport in Rovaniemi. Here we say goodbye to you and hope you enjoyed your time!
