    Welcome to Hanoi. Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, is known for its centuries-old  architecture and a rich culture with Southeast Asian, Chinese and French influences. At its heart is the chaotic Old Quarter, where the narrow streets are roughly arranged by trade. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to the city centre. (early check in is included) Today, visit Tran Quoc Pagoda (outside), the most ancient pagoda in Hanoi with its history line of more than 1,500 years. Continue to Ho Chi Minh Complex which features the life of Ho Chi Minh, the nation’s founder. Stop by one of Hanoi’s icons, the One Pillar Pagoda, built in the 11th Century in dedication to Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara or Buddha of Compassion and reminiscent of a lotus blossom rising from a pond.   Continue to the Temple of Literature, known as the first university of Vietnam built in 1070 by the Ly Dynasty to honor Confucius, sages and outstanding Vietnamese scholars.   Afternoon, go to Hoan Kiem Lake, the center point of Hanoi whose name “The Return Sword Lake” originated from a legend of a sacred sword and home to a rare endangered giant turtle species. Free for walking around Old Quarter. Overnight in Hanoi.   Enjoy water puppet show, a window into local culture, and is a fully realised art form enjoyed by young and old. Watch scenes of village life on an ever-changing stage, learn about festivals and traditions, and get to know quirky characters inspired by Vietnamese personalities.

  • Day 2
    Activity   Day 2 Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc – Mua Cave SIC (B)

      At 8:00 am, our bus and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi ư First, we will visit Hoa Lu– the ancient capital of Vietnam from 986-1010. Our local guide will tell you interesting information about the first feudal government of Vietnam. Then, we will visit Mua Cave, where you can admire the fabulous panoramic view of Tam Coc and Ninh Binh. You will challenge yourself to conquer 486 mountain steps to reach the top point of Ngoa Long mountain.   After that, we will head to Tam Coc along the country lane. Experience the beautiful scenery of paddy fields.   In the afternoon, we will discover Tam Coc on the sampan (bamboo boat) for about 2 hours. You will have a chance to mix with the daily local life, river, limestone mountains, and rice fields.   We will pass 3 beautiful caves including Hang Ca- the first cave, Hang Hai- the second cave, and Hang Ba- the third cave by boat with an exciting feeling.   Says goodbye to Ninh Binh in the middle of afternoon and back to Hanoi.   Overnight in Hanoi.

     Breakfast at Hotel and Check-out. Transfer to Ha Long Bay in Quang Ninh Province (around 160KM). Upon arrival in Halong Bay, boarding the Cruise for exploring wonderful Bay of Halong. Lunch at boat while cruising around the Bay.   Afternoon: explore hundreds of beautiful karst formations arising from green emerald water, explore Cave, swimming and enjoy Sunset on the Cruise (Program might change due to the weather and the management) Dinner on the Cruise. After dinner is fishing time for everyone who wishes to join Overnight on the Cruise Note: The final cruise itinerary is subject to change based on each cruise’s program.     Activity   Day 5 Ba Na hill – Golden Bridge (B,L)

    Morning, departure to Ba Na Hills, pass the sea-shore on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, one of the most beautiful roads of Da Nang City and Red Beach, where the French first landed in Da Nang. Arrive at the Cable car station at the foot of Ba Na Mountain. Enjoy the first leg Cable car, which achieves two Guinness-World records in 2009, longest non-stop cable car (5,042m) and highest non-stop cable car (1,292m). Sitting in the cabin, in mid-air, looking upon the endless tree line of the forests, bring you with spectacular views of the lush jungle and fairly waterfalls along the way. Experience pristine ecological systems of the Ba Na Mountains will leave you the sense of unforeseeable discovery. Visit the Le Jardin, remains of French Villas and Ling Ung Pagoda with 27m high Buddha status. We then leave the Le Jardin for the second cable car station to visit the top of mountain and see the remaining of old villas. Conquer the Peak of Chua Mountain at the height of 1,487m. View the whole Danang city under the cluster of white clouds.   Lunch at local restaurant in Ba Na Hills. Overnight in Da Nang.     Activity   Day 6 Marble Mountains – Hoi An – Da Nang (B)

    Transfer to visit Marble Mountain. Around the top of Marble Mountains, the visitors will see Da Nang’s oldest Buddhist temples, grandest grottoes, holiest shrines to local people, pretty outlooks and heritage trees. A viewpoint where all mountains are in sight is included in the trekking. In the surrounding, 400-years-old Non Nuoc marble village is proud of its traditional sculpture carving. One of the largest statue galleries is recommended, providing many opportunities for photography. The Giant Lady Buddha was sculpted by artisans here.   Afternoon, by the Thu Bon River, Hoi An is the best-preserved trading town in South-east Asia. Thrived between 15th and 19th centuries, this international hub of commerce drew foreign merchants coming to trade whose nationality were Chinese, Japanese, Dutch, Portuguese and more. Lost its important role in the end of the nineteenth century, architectural heritages and culture of local inhabitants in Hoi An today are still unchanged. Besides places included by the entrance ticket*, the guide also recommends other highlights to allow travelers to know different slices of the town. There are lots of opportunities to photograph, taste local street foods and buy souvenirs while wandering around lantern-lit streets.   Back to Da Nang in the late afternoon.   Overnight in Da Nang.   Inclusion:  Private transfer, guide, entrance fee, breakfast, hotel

     Breakfast at Hotel, transfer to the airport for the flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Arrive Tan Son Nhat airport, tour guide pick up and transfer downtown and visit: the Reunification Palace which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975, Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office: Built between 1877 and 1883 this is one of the best examples of classical French colonial architecture, followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum the museum has a vast display of the both the Indochina wars. End of the tour is Ben Thanh Market: This bustling market is very popular with tourists, primarily due to its central location. It has a wide selection of goods ranging from fake Nike shoes to beautiful silk Ao Dais. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City. Inclusion: Private transfer, guide, entrance fee, breakfast, hotel

    After breakfast, a two-hour drive to My Tho will expose the colorful outskirt life as well as picturesque rice fields along the journey. Upon arrival, get on a boat trip up Mekong River with islet stop at Thoi Son to taste seasonal fruits, enjoy traditional folk songs. Then, visit the authentic life of the local and challenge your bargaining power at cottage handicraft shops. An adventurous sampan rides in palm shading creeks will be the next experience of the riverside region. Return to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.     Info   Day 9 Cu Chi Tunnels - HCMC - Departure (B)

    Breakfast at Hotel and transfer to visit Cu Chi Tunnels. Cu Chi Tunnels is a legendary underground system of over 220 km of tunnels, a must-see for both Vietnamese and foreign travelers who are interested in the history of the Vietnam War. The tunnels are now a historical structure of Vietnam and considered a heroic district for the role they played in the resistance to US forces during the Vietnam War. The tunnels are located approximately 60km from Ho Chi Minh city. The tour departs at 8:00 am  or 12:45 from Vietnam Adventure Tours office or from your hotel in district 1. Enjoy the scenery along the way, as we pass the lush, endless rice fields and the ducks are water buffaloes swimming in the rivers. You might find it hard to imagine that once the area was almost completely destroyed by bombs and mines from the war, when Cu Chi was a “free target zone “. Once we arrive, you will get a chance to walk through some of the tunnels, discover the hidden corners and imagine what life was like here for the resistance soldiers. If you’re feeling brave, or curious, you can even try your hand at shooting at AK-47, one of the guns used during the war (optional on your own account).
