Varanasi and Ayodhya 3-night/4-day

Arrive in Varanasi, one of the oldest and holiest cities in India. Check into your hotel and freshen up. In the evening, head to the ghats (riverfront steps) along the Ganges River to witness the famous Ganga Aarti ceremony. It is a mesmerizing ritual where priests perform prayers and offer oil lamps to the river. Take a boat ride on the Ganges to see the ghats illuminated at night.

Start your day early with a sunrise boat ride on the Ganges. Witness the morning rituals, including bathing and prayer ceremonies along the riverbank. After breakfast, visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the most important Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is believed to be one of the twelve Jyotirlingas (manifestations of Lord Shiva) in India. Explore the narrow alleys and bustling markets of Varanasi, where you can find silk sarees, handicrafts, and traditional jewelry. In the evening, you can attend a classical music and dance performance or visit the Sarnath, a nearby site where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon.

After breakfast, drive to Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Rama, located approximately 200 kilometers from Varanasi. Visit the Ram Janmabhoomi, the site believed to be the birthplace of Lord Rama. Explore the newly constructed Ram Mandir (temple) and witness the beautiful architecture and religious rituals. Explore other significant sites in Ayodhya, such as Hanuman Garhi, Kanak Bhawan, and the Sita Rasoi. In the evening, you can enjoy a serene boat ride on the Saryu River and witness the evening aarti at the banks.
