Day 1: Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar Today morning after breakfast leave for Gulmarg. Gulmarg is the meadow of flowers and the land is literally a meadow filled with vibrant local and wild flowers. This meadow is located 2730m above mean sea level. Gulmarg is the ‘Heartland of Winter Sports in India’. This place is the 7th best destination for skiing in Asia. You will be taken to Khilanmarg via ropeway ride or pony. This gondola (ropeway ride) is Asia’s highest and longest one. This is one of the famous tourist attractions of the land. The ropeway ride is divided into two phases – to and from Kongdori Mountain. The bird’s eye view from the cable car is a mesmerizing experience . If you wish, you can take part in adventure activities like trekking, rock climbing, skiing, and others. Gulmarg has one of the highest altitude golf courses on earth. Day 1: Srinagar airport Arrival & same day local sightseeing. On arrival at Srinagar Airport, being your tour of Kashmir meet our driver who will transfer you to the hotel. Later leave for Srinagar sightseeing visiting the famous Mughal gardens in Srinagar which are Nishat Bagh (The garden of Pleasure), Shankaracharaya Temple, Hazratbal Shrine, Pari Mahal & Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love). These gardens are situated on the banks of Dal Lake. Nishat Bagh is the larger of the two gardens & has an impressive plantation of Chinar trees on its highest terrace.
