In the morning proceed to Pahalgam. We will begin our trip towards Pahalgam and drive on the National Highway 1A.This road connects the valley to the rest of the country. We drive past the saffron fields of Pam pore, the marvelous ruins of Awantipura  and the village of Bijbehara which remains famous as the the bread basket of Kashmir. You can even sample a few exotic breads sold by vendors near the road. We switch the national highway at khan bal and drive through the second largest city of Anantnag. Pahalgham is a hill station in the north Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. Mountain trails run northeast to Amarnath cave Temple, a Hindu shrine and site of the annual Amarnath yatra pilgrimage. Over a Aru Wildlife Sanctuary is home to animals including brown bears and musk deer. Northeast, the Lidder River runs through scenic Betaab Valley. The 08 minutes of rope way will take you past colourful shephered hutments to the lower ridge of the Afarwatt peak. From here you can click lots of photos of the nearby mountain ranges that stand tall like sentinels guarding the rick natural beauty of Kashmir valley.We will stay at the hotel for overnight stay hotel Gulmarg.
