Phuket City, on Phuket Island, is the capital of Thailand’s Phuket Province. In the Old Town, Thalang Road is lined with colorful 19th-century shophouses and Sino-Portuguese buildings. Built in 1903 by a wealthy tin merchant, Baan Chinpracha mansion has Italian floor tiles, shuttered windows and antique furniture. Set in a 1930s manor, the Thai Hua Museum has exhibits on Phuket’s culture and history.

The Phi Phi Islands are an island group in Thailand between the large island of Phuket and the Straits of Malacca coast of Thailand. The islands are administratively part of Krabi Province. Phi Phi Islands, otherwise known as Koh Phi Phi in Thailand. Located 43 km west from the coast of Krabi, this small archipelago consists of 6 islands: Koh Phi Phi Don, Koh Phi Phi Leh, Koh Bida Nok, Koh Bida Nai, Koh Phai (Bamboo Island), and Koh Young (Mosquito Island). The only inhabited island – and the largest – of the group is Koh Phi Phi Don.

Tiger Kingdom is not only committed to providing our visitors with an amazing experience but also an educational one, we are proud of our newest educational experiences in Chiang Mai; the ‘Tiger Trail’ and the ‘Keeper For A Day' experience. Through the process of ‘conservation through education’ we are giving our visitors the chance to leave Tiger Kingdom with memories that will last a lifetime, and a sense of achievement that they have worked with us to make a difference to tigers in captivity and in the wild.  The Tiger Trail influences the participant’s attitudes, emotions, knowledge and behaviors about wild tigers and their natural environment. The experience begins with a tiger class, in which passionate educators pass on their knowledge about tigers and their plight in the wild. This is followed by the unique opportunity to learn hands-on about Tiger Kingdom's approach to tiger care and our enrichment program. The experience offers special activities such as tiger grooming, creating animal enrichment toys and observing the big cats exhibit natural hunting behaviors.   The Keeper for a Day experience gives exclusive behind-the-scenes access to our mature tigers at our largest site in Mae Taeng, Chiang Mai. Visitors with a thirst for knowledge and an enthusiasm for immersive experiences are invited to roll up their sleeves and learn first-hand how our tigers are cared for; from cleaning the cages and day-to-day tiger health care, to feeding the tigers and participating in their enrichment program. The new keepers become members of our team for a whole day and work with us to spread the message of conservation in Thailand.
