4 Nights/5 Days Kedarkantha Trek: The Winter Wonderland

● It will be a drive of 185 Km from Dehradun, the cab will pick you up from Dehradun Railway Station / Mussoorie Bus Stand at 08:00 AM. ● Trekkers will be notified with details of the cab a day before your trek starts day! ● Drive along Yamuna and Tons river, with pine forests surrounding your way, and enjoy the beauty of nature at its best. ● After morning exercise we will have our break and start the trek around 8 AM for our first camp Juda Ka Talab. ● You will cover a total of 5 km of distance today. In this trail, one will come across many shepherd huts in open meadows which are equally delightful to see. ● The trail starts in a beautiful pine forest, just a short 10 minutes walk away from the village. The trail is wide and one can hear the sounds of running streams all through but may not be in view till much further. ● We will camp beside the small pond surrounded by Pine and Oak trees. ● One can have beautiful views of snow-clad peaks from Juda Ka Talab Campsite. ● Get up early morning to see the golden glow of snow-clad peaks. ● Post breakfast starts the trek to Kedarkantha Peak base which takes around 4 hrs to reach Kedarkantha Peak base camp. ● The trek again begins through dense forests of pine and oak trees only and through the steep ridge and much more dense ar just before reaching the Kedarkantha Base one the fascinating views of an arc-shaped range of Show clapped mountains. Enjoy hot lunch and explore the area. At night, the snow-clad mountain peaks shine bright as the moon, and you will clearly see Kedarkantha from your campsite. ● Overnight sleep at the tent. ● Today is a long day trek up to the summit of Kedarkantha peak, the day begins early with a filling breakfast and enjoying the sunrise from the Kedarkantha meadows which is simply amazing, pure, and divine. sometimes you will find yourself in knee-deep snow. ● As the sun rises, you'll see a dramatic show of colours in the sky and the transformation leaves you speechless. One can relax at the top for some time and enjoy the magical beauty of nature. ● After spending some quality time at the peak we trek back to the camping site in Hargaon/Juda ka Talab, and enjoy the snow slides while descending. ● Trek down to Sankri from Hargaon / Juda ka Talab on the well-marked trail by stones. ● Trek down through the thick forest of Pine and Maple trees and at some places you will have open views of beautiful Har Ki Dun valley. ● After reaching sankri transfer to Dehradun. Themes:Adventure

The company reserves the right to use alternate transport, or vary the itinerary if breakdown, sickness, or any other force major. The loss of baggage, medical expenses, helicopter (air or ground) rescue, injury, death, repatriation, cancellation, and curtailment of the itinerary.  The decision of Tour/trek leader or Guide: The client agrees to accept the authority and the decision of the tour/ trek leader or escort appointed by the company whilst on tour with the company. If in the opinion of the tour/ trek leader, any client’s behavior is detrimental to the safety, welfare, or harmonious state of the group as a whole, the client may be asked to leave the tour/trek without any right of refund and all extra expenses caused will be on his/her charge.  The organizers or any individual connected with the camp shall not be held responsible for any accident or any unforeseen natural calamity.  Last moment changes on the program will not be acceptable. The final decision on any dispute will be taken by LEAFMOUNT ADVENTURES  Participants are expected to be in discipline. One can be dismissed from the program/camp who is found to be misbehaving with any individual or staff members, without prior notice.  All sightseeing and treks are by walk. Cancellation & Refund Policy : Cancellations Policy for Land Package: No Refund shall be made with respect to the initial booking amount for any cancellations. However,  If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.  If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 75% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees  If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees. In the case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be canceled and in such cases, the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity.
