The temple is also a Shakti Peetha and is about 1 km east of Pashupatinath Temple and is located on the southern bank of the Bagmati River. It is said that this temple is the Shakti chair of PashupatinathTemple. Then after make your way to the largest stupa in the world Boudhanath Stupa built in the fifth century. Before the present day Stupa was build, it was an overnight camp of Tibetan businessman. Today it is best site to observe Tibetan lifestyle, culture and religious practices of monks. Davis falls, or “PataleChanggo” in Nepali is actually an underground waterfall. The water flows under the ground through its natural tunnel of 500 feet from the fall made by the water currents beneath the land. Move towards Mahadev Cave, also known as Gupteshwor Cave is limestone cave with its shrine desiccated to Lord Shiva. The cave is said to have been discovered in 16th Century.
