The Gold Souk is the most famous, with its gleaming shelves of gold jewellery. Wander through the labyrinth of lanes and you'll find everything from tiny trinkets to dazzling necklaces. Prices are negotiable, so don't be afraid to bargain hard – you could save yourself a fortune.
 
If spices are more your thing, head to the Spice Souk. From cumin and cinnamon to saffron and turmeric, you'll find every spice imaginable here. Be sure to stock up – they make great souvenirs (and they'll come in handy when you start cooking those Arabian nights recipes).
If you're looking for a souvenir with a bit more Dubai flavour, check out the Textile Souk. You'll find traditional fabrics and carpets, as well as modern designs with an Arabian twist.
And if you're just looking for a good old fashioned wander, the souks are the perfect place to lose yourself for a few hours. With its narrow laneways and hidden corners, you'll never know what you'll find around the next bend.

10. Visit the Ferrari World Theme Park

The Ferrari World Theme Park in Dubai is a must-visit for any fan of the iconic Italian sports car. The park is home to a wide variety of Ferrari-themed attractions and rides, including the world’s fastest rollercoaster. There’s also a Driving Experience zone where you can take a lap around a racetrack in a real Ferrari.
 
If you’re not feeling quite so adventurous, you can take a leisurely stroll through the park’s exhibits, which include a collection of classic Ferraris and a replica of the Enzo Ferrari factory. And of course, no visit to Ferrari World is complete without a visit to the world’s largest Ferrari showroom, which is home to over 60 different models of the sports car.
 
The Ferrari World Theme Park is open every day from 10am to 6pm. Entry costs 250 dirhams for adults and 200 dirhams for children aged 3-12.
