The Vande Bharat Express has been designed and manufactured in India and is said to be made of indigenous materials. The train has 16 coaches, of which two are executive class and 14 are chair cars. The train is equipped with features such as LED lights, bio-toilets and a GPS-based passenger information system. 
 
The Vande Bharat Express has been welcomed by passengers and travel enthusiasts alike. Some have even called it a "game changer" for the Indian Railways. The train is expected to play a major role in promoting tourism in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
