Day 1: Delhi to Haridwar
Take an overnight train or bus from Delhi to Haridwar, which is the starting point for Char Dham Yatra.
Day 2: Haridwar to Barkot
Take a bus or shared taxi from Haridwar to Barkot, which is around 220 km away. En route, you can visit Kempty Falls in Mussoorie. Stay overnight at Barkot.
Day 3: Barkot to Yamunotri
Drive from Barkot to Hanuman Chatti and then take a shared jeep or horse to reach Yamunotri temple. After darshan, return to Barkot and stay overnight.
Day 4: Barkot to Uttarkashi
Drive from Barkot to Uttarkashi, which is around 80 km away. En route, you can visit the Vishwanath temple in Uttarkashi. Stay overnight at Uttarkashi.
Day 5: Uttarkashi to Gangotri
Drive from Uttarkashi to Gangotri, which is around 100 km away. En route, you can visit the Gangnani hot water springs. Stay overnight at Gangotri.
Day 6: Gangotri to Guptkashi
Drive from Gangotri to Guptkashi, which is around 280 km away. Stay overnight at Guptkashi.
Day 7: Guptkashi to Kedarnath
Take a shared jeep or bus from Guptkashi to Gaurikund and then trek or take a horse to reach Kedarnath temple. After darshan, stay overnight at Kedarnath.
Day 8: Kedarnath to Pipalkoti
Take a shared jeep or bus from Gaurikund to Guptkashi and then drive to Pipalkoti, which is around 130 km away. Stay overnight at Pipalkoti.
Day 9: Pipalkoti to Badrinath
Drive from Pipalkoti to Badrinath, which is around 80 km away. En route, you can visit the Joshimath temple. Stay overnight at Badrinath.
Day 10: Badrinath to Rudraprayag
Take a shared jeep or bus from Badrinath to Rudraprayag, which is around 160 km away. En route, you can visit the Narasimha temple in Joshimath. Stay overnight at Rudraprayag.
Day 11: Rudraprayag to Haridwar
Drive from Rudraprayag to Haridwar, which is around 160 km away. En route, you can visit the Devprayag confluence. Stay overnight at Haridwar.
Day 12: Haridwar to Delhi
Take an overnight train or bus from Haridwar to Delhi.
