How To Reach Tawang

Air India operates day flights between Guwahati and Tawang.

Tawang is well connected to Tezpur (Assam) and Bomdila via regular buses and taxis. Though the cities are close to Tawang, the journey takes a long time due to the rough roads. However, the scenery is worth the arduous journey.

Tawang can be reached by train from Jiribam, Lumding, New Tinsukia and Guwahati.

Public transport in Tawang are rickshaws, tongas and minivans
