How To Reach Kashmir

There are a few different routes you can take to get to Kashmir by train. The most popular route is from Delhi to Srinagar. The journey takes around 36 hours, and there are a number of different trains you can take. The other popular route is from Mumbai to Jammu. This journey takes around 41 hours, and there are also a number of different trains you can take.

If you are travelling by road, the journey will take you through the picturesque hills of Jammu and Kashmir.
The first step is to reach Jammu, which is the winter capital of Jammu and Kashmir. Jammu is well connected by road and rail to all major cities in India. From Jammu, you will have to drive to Srinagar, which is the summer capital of Kashmir. The drive from Jammu to Srinagar is a beautiful one, and you will get to see the snow-capped mountains and the lovely countryside.

In Kashmir, there are a variety of local transport options available including buses, taxis, auto-rickshaws, and cycle-rickshaws.

The Srinagar Bus Service is the primary form of public transportation and operates throughout the city. The buses are comfortable and air-conditioned.

Taxis are a popular form of transportation, and can be hired for a short or long journey. 

Auto-rickshaws are a convenient way to get around the city, and are very affordable. Cycles-rickshaws are also available for short trips.
