Reaching Dubai is easy, with a number of international airports serving the city. Dubai International Airport is the largest airport in the Middle East, and it’s one of the busiest airports in the world. If you’re flying from Europe or North America, you’ll most likely arrive at Dubai International Airport.

If you’re travelling from within the region, there are a number of other airports that you can use, including Dubai World Central Airport, Al Maktoum International Airport and Ras Al Khaimah International Airport.

Local transport

Once you’ve arrived in Dubai, getting around the city is easy. Dubai has an extensive and well-maintained public transport system, which includes buses, trains and a metro system. The metro system is particularly convenient, and it’s the quickest way to get around the city.

If you’d prefer to explore Dubai by car, there are a number of car rental companies in the city. Just be sure to familiarize yourself with the rules of the road, as they can be quite different to what you’re used to.
