SPRING

It signals the beginning of fresh life and a soul-rejuvenation. Everywhere welcomes a visitor with the scent of newly blossomed blossoms. In the spring, there is “hope” for a successful summer.

 SUMMER

The results of steadfast manual labour can now be reaped. Hope’s petals have now matured into delectable fruits. This is a moment to celebrate and take in the beauty of the valley. In contrast to other areas that continue to experience the hot heat throughout these months, higher parts of Kashmir exhibit a favourable climate.

Autumn

Red and yellow dead leaves fall from the trees, leaving them naked. The Chinar absorbs all the summer heat and begins to glow crimson, as if it were on fire. As a prelude for the next winter, this season also provides chilly mornings and evenings.

Winter

Winter is the icy spectre that steals life. Under the covering of snow that is stretched out all about, everything becomes immobile. Everything is gently covered by the silent snow as though there are painful memories of the past hidden beneath.
