Srinagar’s Famous Tulip Garden Is Now Open To Public

Between the months of March and May, when the tulips are ready to bloom, Srinagar hosts the magical Tulip Festival on the foothills of the Zabarwan mountains overlooking the Dal Lake and located at an altitude of 5,600 ft.
The 15-day festival not only hosts a variety of tulips in every colour, but has an array of blooming daffodils, hyacinths, roses, ranculi, muscaria and iris as well.
The garden has seven terraces, and each terrace has a different variety of tulips.
The garden is open from 9am to 7pm daily. The tickets, for children and adults, are Rs 25 and Rs 50, respectively.
