Goa Tourism: Strict action against illicit beach activities; making Goan beaches safer

The Goa state tourism administration is preparing to crack down on illicit beach activities in order to make Goan beaches safer for tourists. The perpetrators of such acts will face severe consequences.
The state tourism mission is Safe & Clean Beaches, which aspires to provide crime-free beaches in Goa so that visitors do not have any unpleasant experiences. In addition to this purpose, the tourism department emphasizes the necessity of clean beaches. A clean shoreline will be ensured by a series of beach cleanup drives.
The tourism agency will collaborate with the Goa Police Department to ensure that guidelines are followed. To make the areas in and around the beaches safer for everyone, new safety improvements will be implemented.
