Canada is all set to reopen for international tourists, starting from September 7. "Borders will reopen for international tourism, provided that the domestic epidemiological situation remains favourable. For fully vaccinated travellers, there is a good chance that you will be able to travel to Canada in the month of September"-Canadian Government.

Tourists flying to Canada should carry their fully vaccinated against the virus at least 14 days before entering the country. Also, travellers must take note of the vaccines that are recognised by Canada. These are Pfixer - BioNTech, AstraZeneca/Covishield, and Johnson & Johnson. The country is actually going to kick-off the border reopening plans on August 9 by permitting American citizens and permanent residents, and those that are fully vaccinated, to enter the country for non-essential travel. It has been reported that travellers must use ArriveCAN, in either web or app version, so as to submit travel information. This will allow them to know whether they are eligible to enter into Canada, and will determine whether or not they have to quarantine in Canada upon arrival. Fully vaccinated travellers are not required to quarantine upon entry.

Canada also mentioned a decline in COVID 19 cases since vaccination rates have gone up in the country. As of now, there is a 3 night quarantine rule in place at a government authorised hotel, the same will be dropped from August 9 onwards.
