ASSAM DOES AWAY WITH COVID TEST FOR FULLY VACCINATED TOURISTS

People who have been vaccinated with both doses of Covid vaccine will be exempted from the mandatory testing on arrival at airports or railway stations in Assam, announced Assam Govt. 

 

With the number of Covid-19 vaccinated people rising, Assam Government pulled out the order stating that the incoming tourists vaccinated with both doses of vaccine would not be compulsorily tested. this scheme would prove helpful for tourists who have been completely vaccinated and are willing to visit Assam. 

 

Anurag Goel, Principal Secretary, Health Department, Assam, issued a circular stating that the individuals would need a verified certificate giving details of both vaccination doses showing that they are fully vaccinated. 

 

Many other states such as Punjab, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, UT Chandigarh, Meghalaya and Nagaland are up for taking similar measures for the benefit of travellers.
