Archaeological survey of India also known as ASI decided to open all the centrally protected monuments and museums from June16,2021.These monuments across India were shattered down after the hit of second wave of Covid-19 in India. After 2 months from June 16,2021 now the monuments are ready to welcome the tourists.
There are a total of 3693 monuments and 50 national galleries and museums which are being centrally protected in India .The present situation of Covid-19 has become better in India. So ASI decided to welcome the tourist by following some guidelines by the state and District Disaster Management Authorities .However ,people will have to book their tickets online as offline booking facility is been shut for the time due to covid restrictions.
All the Health and safety guidelines and Standard operating procedure's SOP issued by authorities will be followed. On 15th April 2021 the Nodal Ministry of culture and ASI decided to shut all centrally protected monuments and museums in India due to covid-19.Now ,2 months later the Taj mahal and thousands of other monuments will welcome to tourists . Tourists should follow the guidelines under Covid-19.
